Submission Format: For the review process, your submission must use the ACM Interim Template. This is the usual two-column format (e.g., same as last year).
Submission Length: For full/perspective papers, your paper must be no more than 9 pages of content + any number of pages for references. For short/demo/resource papers, your paper must be no more than 4 pages of content + any number for pages for references. For workshop/tutorial proposals, your extended abstract must be no more than 2 pages including references. For doctorial consortium papers, your paper must be no more than 4 pages including references.
Anonymity: For full/perspective and short papers, the review process is DOUBLE-BLIND. Authors need to ensure that all the paper content and supplementary material is anonymized (i.e., the reviewers SHOULD NOT be able to determine who you are). For demo/resource, workshop, tutorial, and doctoral consortium papers, the review process is SINGLE-BLIND. Authors should NOT anonymize their work.
No Dual Submission: Full/perspective and short/demo/resource paper submissions should NOT be currently under review at another publication venue (other than CHIIR 2022).
Supplementary Material and Appendices (Optional): For full/perspective and short/demo/resource papers, you may include anonymized supplementary material and appendices as part of your submission. Examples include interview guides, datasets, code, or questionnaire text. Any supplementary material must be uploaded as a single zipped or gzip file. You should not expect that reviewers will examine this material carefully (or at all) during the review process. For workshop/tutorial papers, the supplementary material should be no more than 2 pages.
