Car manufacturers around the world are working flat out to make automated and connected driving a reality. With the law on autonomous driving, Germany has created a legal framework for autonomous vehicles as the first country in the world. This is the first step towards integrating self-driving vehicles into everyday road traffic. However, numerous legal issues and challenges remain – regarding licensing, liability and data protection.
Dr. Andreas Bauer and Dr. Jörg Kahler, both lawyers and partners at the business chancellery “GSK Stockmann”, will give an overview of selected legal issues relating to the topic of autonomous driving.
