The 16th International Symposium for Information Science (ISI 2021) is being organized this year by the University Association for Information Science and the University of Regensburg. Due to the current situation it will will be held as a virtual event – like so many other events.
This year’s overall conference theme is “Information between Data and Knowledge. Information Science and its Neighbors from Data Science to Digital Humanities”. The symposium deals with current trends such as digital transformation and artificial intelligence that offer the Information Science numerous new opportunities, but also pose many challenges.
