Industrial production is nowadays highly specialized – this has also to be mapped by the associated data science in a company. So-called “self-service analytics” offer an alternative approach to how this can be successfully implemented: The use of data science is to be put into the hands of domain experts, who are specialized experts. This succeeds with the implementation and combination of highly automated data science with an interactive, graphic surface. Domain experts can work independently and without knowledge of machine learning – a real paradigm shift in the use of machine learning in practice.
