Potential of ChatGPT & Co. for Digital Research in Humanities

This summer semester, the Institute of Information and Media, Language and Culture at the University of Regensburg is organizing an interdisciplinary series of events on “ChatGPT & Co.”. These events are dedicated to the (current) developments of the AI-based text generator, its predecessor and successor models from different specialist and interdisciplinary perspectives.

In addition to an introduction to how the chatbot works, the event offers a look at the potential, limits and effects of ChatGPT & Co. e.g. on teaching and learning or the world of work.

Guest lecturers from science and practice as well as professors from the Faculty of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures and the Faculty of Informatics and Data Science will take part in the series of events.
