Why we should not only talk about artificial intelligence – a field report from applied research

Dr. Hofmann is primarily concerned with the design and management of AI-supported information systems. He examines socio-technical issues in the area of ​​human-AI interaction and the organizational integration of AI applications. So he dares to bridge the gap between AI technologies and their business and social environment. In addition to new theoretical perspectives, he develops knowledge and methods to solve relevant practical problems. Even after his doctorate, Dr. Hofmann is significantly involved in several projects and thus promotes the exchange of knowledge between research and economy.

During his lecture, Dr. Hofmann will critically examine why we should not only talk about AI despite exciting technical breakthroughs.
