The Cluster Mobility & Logistics (Technology Network for Mobility and Logistics) invites to the “Working Group AI Energy & Mobility on-site” event in November.
In addition to numerous companies and research institutions, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) is also part of the Working Group KI in Energie & Mobilität (Working Group AI in Energy & Mobility). Since the DIT attaches great importance to applied research, several technology campuses have been established at regional locations. One of these locations is the Institute for Applied Computer Science on the Freyung Technology Campus, which focuses in particular on embedded systems, AI, electromobility and geoinformatics. In cooperation with regional small and medium-sized companies as well as international corporations, 35 scientific and technical employees work there on projects in applied research and development. With a project to an energy management system for the regulation of decentralized energy networks, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics, and European projects between Bavaria and the Czech Republic to SmartGrids, CrossEnergy and e-Roads, the institute has extensive experience with renewable energies, modeling, forecasts, electromobility and machine learning.
