The online seminar series “The digital working world with and without artificial intelligence” starts on March 11, 2021 with the topic: The digital HR assistant CARL. The event format of the Center for Digitization Bavaria – Themed Platform: Working World 4.0 (ZD.B-Themenplattform Arbeitswelt 4.0) offers companies the opportunity to present good practical examples and to discuss them with the other participants. The aim is to exchange information about successful and failed digitization projects and the use of AI in different organizational areas.
Speakers:
- Dr. Marie Fregin, Research Leader at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) of the Maastricht University
- Sabine Rinser-Willuhn, Human Resources Operations & Transformation at the Siemens AG
About the digital HR assistant CARL:
With CARL – an interactive SPOC (single point of contact) with included chatbot – Siemens has created a digital HR assistant that answers questions of the group’s employees about important HR topics (approx. 600 topics) around the clock. With the help of agile project methods an AI-based HR service was developed, which is now used worldwide after an initial pilot phase. CARL was awarded as the winning project in the “HR Organization” category of the German Human Resources Award 2019.
