Europe’s Rules for Artificial Intelligence

In 2021, the European Commission presented its long-awaited proposal to regulate artificial intelligence (AI). With the proposed measures, the Commission aims to create clear rules for one of the key technologies of the 21st century. Time is of the essence, as Europe is in locational competition with countries such as the USA and China when it comes to the use of AI.
