Bad information ruins lives. It harms our communities, spreads hate, hurts our democracy and leads to bad decisions.
To counteract these negative effects of bad and incorrect information, the next meeting of the meetup group “Data Science @ Regensburg” will deal with fact-checking. The two data scientists David Corney and Alex Joseph from Full Fact will speak at this meeting.
The meeting will cover a variety of different topics: misinformation, information retrieval, data mining with BERT and much more.
