Impulse workshop: “Data value creation in industrial production: Introduction of AI methods”

When using artificial intelligence in their own production, many industrial companies are confronted with fundamental questions: When does an AI project make sense and what added value is associated with it? Which steps are necessary and which data should be collected? Which internal company participants have to be included?

We want to discuss the way from AI method to AI application together with our expert Dr. Olaf Enge-Rosenblatt. In his motivational speech he explains success-relevant factors in order to implement AI applications in day-to-day business. In doing so, he draws on his experience at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS (EAS) in Dresden and presents successful implementation examples. As a group leader for data analysis systems at Fraunhofer IIS (EAS), Dr. Enge-Rosenblatt was involved in projects for sensor-based state monitoring of machines and systems in combination with innovative signal processing algorithms.

Following the lecture, we want to discuss important issues related to the lecture topic “Data Value Creation in Industrial Production”. The discussion itself will be moderated “data-driven” by the Strategische Partnerschaft Sensorik e.V. (Strategic partnership sensor technology – registered association) – let yourself be surprised!

This impulse workshop takes place as part of the Regensburg AIR initiative (Artificial Intelligence Regensburg) and is adressed to all companies and interested parties who deal with the implementation of artificial intelligence in industry-related practice. The AIR initiative aims to bundle regional activities in economy, science and politics and to strengthen them locally.
